After incorporation

Registering the company is day one. These are the filings that follow.

Every company and LLP owes the Registrar a calendar of filings from the day it is incorporated, and most businesses need a trademark and a licence on top. ₹4,999 + Govt. fee per filing or application; FSSAI is quoted by licence category.

Why one team

The company, the brand and the licence are one file, not three

The company owns the brand

A trademark is registered in the company's name. Miss the ROC filings and the directors are disqualified, the company can be struck off, and the mark is frozen with it.

The licence sits with the company

The FSSAI licence names the entity and its premises. A change of registered office is an INC-22 at the Registrar and a modification at FoSCoS — the same day, or the two records disagree.

The label carries the brand

An artistic label needs a trademark search certificate before it can be copyrighted, and the brand on it should be filed before the product ships. One team sees all of it.

How it works

Five steps from idea to Certificate of Incorporation

1

Choose the structure

A 20-minute call with a CA on liability, tax, funding plans and cost. You leave with a recommendation and a written government-fee quote for your state.

2

Documents and digital signatures

Upload PAN, Aadhaar, address proofs and the office proof once. We issue Class 3 DSCs after a short video KYC.

3

Name approval

Name search on MCA and the trademark registry, then SPICe+ Part A or RUN-LLP with two names in order of preference.

4

Drafting and filing

Charter documents written for your business, every linked form prepared and certified by a CA or CS, stamp duty paid online, one submission.

5

Certificate and handover

Certificate of Incorporation, PAN, TAN, bank-account kit, registers, share certificates and a first-year compliance calendar with a named contact.

What every package includes

Included in the ₹4,999 registration fee

This is the registration half. Each ROC filing and each trademark application afterwards is its own ₹4,999 + Govt. fee; FSSAI is quoted by licence category.

Structure consultation

CA advice on which entity fits your plan, before any fee is paid.

Name and trademark search

MCA and trademark registry checked so the name survives scrutiny and later legal notices.

Charter documents

MoA/AoA, LLP agreement or partnership deed drafted for your business, not a template.

All government filings

SPICe+, FiLLiP, Registrar of Firms or state portals — prepared, certified and filed by us.

PAN, TAN and bank account

Allotted with incorporation; bank-account opening supported with the accepted proofs.

First-year compliance calendar

Every due date after registration, with reminders, so penalties never start.

Government fees (MCA filing fee, stamp duty, DSC token charges, PAN/TAN) depend on your state and capital. We quote the exact amount before filing and it is paid at actuals with receipts.

FAQs

Registration and compliance: questions founders ask

Registering the company

Which is the best business structure for a startup in India?

If you will raise equity, offer ESOPs or take foreign investment, a private limited company. If you are professionals or a service firm sharing fees, an LLP. A solo founder who wants limited liability picks a One Person Company. Family trading businesses often start as a partnership firm, and freelancers as a sole proprietorship. Our first call settles this for your case.

What does ₹4,999 + Govt. fee mean?

₹4,999 is BookMyCA's professional fee for the whole registration — consultation, drafting, filings, PAN, TAN and bank support. Government charges (MCA fee, state stamp duty, DSC tokens, PAN/TAN fee) are quoted for your state before we start and paid at actuals with receipts. There is no separate add-on for certification or resubmission.

How long does company registration take in India?

Private limited and OPC: 7–10 working days. LLP: 10–15 working days including the agreement. Partnership deed and PAN: 3–7 days, with the Registrar of Firms certificate as per the state. Section 8 and producer companies: 15–25 working days because of licence or member verification.

Can I register a company at my home address?

Yes. A residential address can be the registered office of a company or LLP. You need a recent utility bill and a no-objection certificate from the owner.

Is company registration in Jaipur different from other cities?

No. The MCA process is the same across India; only the stamp duty on charter documents changes with the state of the registered office. BookMyCA is based in Jaipur and registers companies in every state online.

Do I need GST registration along with incorporation?

Only when turnover crosses ₹40 lakh for goods or ₹20 lakh for services, for inter-state supply of goods, or for selling on e-commerce platforms. We add GST when it is needed; it carries no government fee.

What happens after registration?

A company deposits its capital and files INC-20A within 180 days, appoints an auditor within 30 days and files annual returns; an LLP files its agreement within 30 days and two annual forms. Every package includes a first-year calendar and a named contact so none of this is missed.

Can I get Startup India (DPIIT) recognition after registering?

Yes, for private limited companies, LLPs and registered partnership firms that are less than ten years old with turnover under ₹100 crore. We file the DPIIT application as an add-on.

Keeping it compliant

What does the ₹4,999 cover?

Our professional work on one filing or one application: the documents, the drafting, the CA/CS certification where the law requires it, the filing itself and the acknowledgement. Government fee is separate and paid at actuals.

What does an FSSAI application cost?

Two parts. The government fee is fixed by category and by the number of years you take the licence for — ₹100 a year for Basic registration, ₹2,000 to ₹5,000 for a State licence, ₹7,500 for a Central licence. Our charge depends on the category and on how much of the file we prepare: a Basic registration is a short job, a manufacturing licence with a layout plan, an FSMS plan and a water test report is not. We confirm the category and quote both figures before anything is filed.

Can I get all three from one team?

Yes, and that is the point of grouping them. The company that owns the brand has to stay in good standing with the Registrar; the food business that holds the FSSAI licence is usually that same company. One team sees the whole picture.

Figures are from the Companies Act 2013, LLP Act 2008, Indian Partnership Act 1932, the Companies (Registration Offices and Fees) Rules 2014, LLP Rules 2009 and Nidhi Rules 2014 as amended, as on 5 September 2026. Stamp duty is set by each state and quoted before filing.
