Overview

Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) is a government policy requiring businesses to take responsibility for waste generated from their products and packaging. Producers, importers, and brand owners (PIBOs) must register online with CPCB to manage pre- and post-consumer waste.

EPR covers multiple waste categories: Plastic, Battery, Tyre, and E-waste. Registration ensures accountability, recycling, and sustainable disposal while promoting a circular economy.

Eligibility Criteria

Entities that must register
