Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC)
Overview
The Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC) is a statutory body under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, established to promote and develop the export of carpets and other floor‐coverings from India.
CEPC supports exporters through product innovation, market research, quality improvement, skill development, and international collaboration, providing a platform for small and medium enterprises to connect with global buyers.
The Council organizes participation in international trade fairs and exhibitions, offers promotional and marketing support, and liaises with government departments to ease export regulations and compliance for its members.
CEPC issues a Registration-cum-Membership Certificate (RCMC) to manufacturer and merchant exporters, which is a prerequisite for exporting carpet products and accessing benefits such as trade‐fair participation, market intelligence, and government schemes.
