Video Explanation & Insights
Overview
Authorised Dealer (AD) Code is a 14-digit numerical code issued by the bank branch through which an exporter receives foreign currency payments. Every exporter must register the AD Code on ICEGATE (Customs portal) to enable electronic credit of export incentives and proceeds.
Without AD Code registration, exporters cannot generate shipping bills on ICEGATE, nor can they receive duty drawback, RoDTEP, or IGST refunds.
