Handloom Export Promotion Council (HEPC) RCMC Registration

Overview

The Handloom Export Promotion Council (HEPC) is the apex body that regulates and promotes the export of handloom products from India, providing technical support, financial assistance, and market access to its members.

HEPC RCMC holders gain the ability to participate in international trade fairs, access export‐promotion schemes, and leverage industry intelligence to enhance product quality and competitiveness.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for HEPC RCMC Registration

  • Exporter of handloom products
  • Manufacturer‐exporter of handloom goods and allied products

Types of Membership

  • Merchant exporter – Exports handloom products without manufacturing them
  • Manufacturer exporter – Both manufactures and exports handloom products

Documents Required

1.Self-attested copy of Import-Export Code (IEC)
2.Self-attested PAN card copy (of proprietor or firm as applicable)
3.Partnership deed (for partnership firms)
4.Articles of Association (for companies)
5.Board resolution on company letterhead (for joint-stock firms and societies)
6.Manufacturer-exporter certificate or Udyog Aadhaar certificate indicating handloom products, or notarized affidavit on ₹10 stamp paper
