Export Promotion Council for EOUs & SEZs (EPCES) RCMC Membership

Overview

The Export Promotion Council for EOUs & SEZs (EPCES) was established by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry to support the export needs of Export Oriented Units (EOUs) and Special Economic Zones (SEZs), collaborating with industry, policymakers, banks, financial institutions, and multilateral agencies to enhance competitiveness in the sector.

The objective behind issuing the Registration-cum-Membership Certificate is to promote exports from India and earn more foreign exchange, and to facilitate interaction between the EOUs/SEZ community and the Government.

EPCES registration helps manufacturers and exporters of goods and services—particularly small businesses—to set up units and access various government schemes, incentives, and policy benefits.
