State Government Grants for Startups
Seed grants, sustenance allowances, work orders and equity-linked support from the eight states that were actually funding startups in September 2026.
State grants are smaller than the central ones but far easier to get, and they sit on top of central benefits rather than replacing them. The catch is that each state wants you registered on its own startup portal, and most want the company incorporated or headquartered there. Eight states currently run funding that is worth a founder's time; the rest offer policy promises without an open window. Checked 4 September 2026.
